    Hi, Absolutvdk
Have a look at this post how to disable performance boost in Windows Advanced Power processor settings PHN18-72 Maximum Processor State in Power Plan not changing CPU frequency — Acer Community

Here’s a simplified version of what he did:

    1. Open Regedit.exe and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7
    2. Change the Attributes value from 1 (hidden) to 2 (visible)
    3. Restart, then open your Advanced Power Settings for Balanced or Best Power Efficiency plans
    4. Under “Processor performance boost mode,” select Disabled for both Battery and Plugged In

⚙️ This helped quiet the GPU fan without compromising performance for general tasks . It may not fix every issue, but it’s a clean test that doesn’t touch hardware or drivers.

Start by checking Task Manager for apps with high CPU usage and close those that aren’t essential. Then, update your BIOS and thermal drivers by downloading the latest versions from Acer’s support site using your exact laptop model. If Nitrosense isn’t working properly, try resetting its settings to default or reinstalling it from Acer’s support page. Also, shut down the laptop and carefully clean the external air vents. Lastly, ensure your operating system is fully updated, as OS patches can improve thermal regulation and fan behavior

The Acer Nitro ANV15-51's fan speed may not be controllable via NitroSense for various reasons, including software bugs, hardware issues, or incorrect settings. Troubleshooting steps include verifying fan functionality, checking for software updates, and adjusting power settings.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:-

    1. Software Issues:
    NitroSense Bugs:
NitroSense, the Acer utility for fan control, can sometimes have bugs or glitches that prevent it from correctly detecting or controlling the fan speed. Reinstalling NitroSense or checking for updates might resolve this.
    Other Software Conflicts:
Other running applications or background processes might interfere with NitroSense's operation. Try closing unnecessary programs or booting into safe mode to test.
    Operating System Issues:
Problems with the operating system itself can sometimes affect how NitroSense functions. Ensure your Windows installation is activated and up-to-date.
    2. Hardware Problems:
    Fan Failure:
The cooling fan itself might be faulty or damaged. If you suspect a hardware problem, it's best to consult a professional for diagnosis and potential replacement.
    Thermal Paste Issues:
Inadequate or dried-out thermal paste between the CPU/GPU and the heatsink can lead to overheating and fan issues. Applying new thermal paste might be necessary.
    Dust Buildup:
Dust accumulation on the fan or heatsink can restrict airflow and cause the fan to work harder. Cleaning the vents and fans can help.
    3. Incorrect Settings:
    Power Plan Issues:
Ensure your power plan is set appropriately. Some power plans might restrict fan speed to save power, even when the system is under load.
    Performance Boost Mode:
In the Advanced Power Settings, the "Processor performance boost mode" might be set to a state that restricts fan speed. Try disabling it.

    Might be NitroSense software issue

    New thermal paste applied

    Newly re-installed windows & updated
    Power plan is quiet mode

Fans still start throttling the moment i press Power ON | After booting up, even with no programs running, CPU fans still at around 7.3k rpm
