Hi there,

We are using P614 laptop and recently for the past 3 weeks, we keep having problems with teams call. The meeting call audio will be freeze and breaking during the meeting. we have checked our network, internet and microsoft, no issue can be identified, earlier i saw a similiar post on same issue happening for 414 Acer laptop. do take note, no other internet services are impacted at the same pc. please advise, thanks

It would help if you stated what exact model Acer P614 laptop model you have, is it the TravelMate P614-52 model or a different one. As the Microsoft Teams software is not related to Acer and you have to make sure that its setup properly and all connections are working. Go to this Microsoft guide here for Manage your call settings in Microsoft Teams and make sure that this software is setup properly.

Also make sure that your TravelMate P614-52 laptop has all the Win-11 24H2 updates to its last OS build: 26100.4770, which will update all the wireless drivers, audio drivers for best functionality of Microsoft Teams, then update to last bios version 1.31, as all these drivers are very important for this laptop to function properly. Good luck and hope this helps you out

I recommend trying the following steps:

    Disable GPU hardware acceleration
Go to Teams > Settings > General, and check the box for “Disable GPU hardware acceleration.” This has helped resolve similar freezing issues caused by rendering failures on Mac devices.
    Clear Teams cache thoroughly:
Kindly try to follow the steps to clear cache one more time
For reference: Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
    Use Teams via web browser
Try joining meetings through https://teams.microsoft.com using web browser to see if the issue persists.
    Monitor system performance during calls
Open Activity Monitor and check for any spikes in CPU or memory usage from Teams or related helper processes during a call. This can help identify if the freeze is resource-related.
