How can I connect to external monitors to my laptop? I have bought a Lenovo dock station and am trying to connect with the laptop through USB-C, but it doesn't do anything. What should i do?

Use the HDMI 2.1, as it depends on which gpu you have as these ports have a Data Thoroughput of 18Gbps ~ 48Gbps for your Nitro 5 AN515-55 laptop, as this laptops USB-C port is not an image out Thunderbolt type port that is why you are not getting an image. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

This is the AN515-55 laptops right side where the USB-C port is and as you can see it states that this port has NO support for display out.

Hi, the Nitro 5 AN515‑55 USB‑C port is data‑only. It doesn’t support DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt, so you can’t send video through it to an external display. What you should get is an active USB3.0 graphics adapter like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-DisplayLink-Graphics-Outputs-Compatible/dp/B094G5JLNC?th=1

Note that you need to download the Diplaylink driver for this adapter

Hi @Jas99 – The AN515‑55’s USB‑C port is data‑only. No DP Alt Mode, no Thunderbolt, so no video over USB‑C. Use HDMI 2.1, or a USB 3.0 → HDMI/DP adapter with DisplayLink drivers.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please check the link below and let me know if this will work or not? If yes, I can buy them.

I bought the DisplayPort from the below link, and it is still not working. Will there be an issue with my laptop or do I need to install any drivers?
