    Hi @Jaisank257 , 👋

“Drive is protected” can be triggered by a few different Windows features — not all of them involve encryption. Try these steps:

    1. Save to a user‑writable folder
      • Avoid writing directly to the root of C:\.
      • Use a sub‑folder under C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents or Downloads, or create your own folder and set Full Control for your account (Right‑click → Properties → Security).
    2. Check Controlled Folder Access
      • Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Ransomware protection.
      • If Controlled Folder Access is on, either turn it off temporarily or add the program as an allowed app.
    3. Remove accidental write‑protection
      • attributes disk clear readonlyfor external drives/USBs, or check the drive’s Properties → uncheck “Read‑only”.
    4. (Optional) If the drive is BitLocker‑protected
      • In File Explorer, right‑click it → if you see Unlock drive, select it and enter the password or recovery key.

Once folder permissions and any security restrictions are adjusted, you should be able to save files normally.
