I recently upgraded the NVMe memmory of my new AIO to 2TB and in that respect all is fine.

I reviewed all the info I could find om removing the clip-on back cover and everything appeared OK . However on replacing the cover I foumd that the power-on switch is no longer working.

After much res34earch I have found that an unbelievably flimsy white plastic attachment has been torn of its mountings. This attachment is fixed to the rear cover via two about 0.5 mm protrusions making it very very fragile.

The function of this attachment is to transfer the movement of the power-on switch to the actual power-on button.

My rerquest is this - How can I get a replacement back cover to replace the one I damaghed?

So far I cannot find any webpage showing replacement parts for mu C24-1800.

Thank you

There is no clip that is documented in the FRU parts list for your Aspire AIO C24-1800 model computer, it would be allot easier if you took a caption and shown the exact clip that you mean here with your post.

Below is correct rear cover removal procedure for your AIO C24-1800 model computer

    Thank you for your help.

I am not interested in getting a replacement clip as I alrady have th old one. The problem is that the clip is held in place by two miniscule lugs with a diameter of less than 1mm. The clip is welded onto the lugs so it is not intended as a rep-alceable item.

Unfortunately whilst removong the rear cover these two luga have broken off so there is no way I can remount the clips.

What I am after is a complete replacemnt cover to restore the computer to the as new condition. So my question should have been how can I get a new cover.

Inside the cover is a label with the codes 3600FP0O0002 and MF01

I hope this clarifies the situation.

There is one firther query. To switch the computer on I must find a minute (1 mm diam) push button, which would be tricky for thise with good vison. Witgh my very bad vision it is nigh on impossible. Is there anyway in which I van set to computer to power-on automatically whne connected to mains power.
