    Hi @maxximmmka10 ,

Not all Nitro 5 AN515-57 models come with RGB lighting — some only support red backlighting. If NitroSense doesn’t show the keyboard tab and the color stays red even after registry tweaks, it’s likely your unit has the red-only keyboard variant.

    To confirm:

    • Check your product listing or sticker for “RGB keyboard” mention.
    • RGB models usually have translucent key legends across multiple zones.
    • If the keyboard tab is missing in NitroSense, that’s a strong sign it’s not RGB-capable.

Let us know your exact model number (e.g., AN515-57-54YH), and we can help verify it for you.

    Hope that clears things up!

To change the keyboard lighting on an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57, you can typically use the Fn + F9 or Fn + F10 keys to toggle through different lighting modes (on/off, brightness levels, or colors). Additionally, the NitroSense application (if available for your model) may offer more advanced customization options, including color selection and lighting effects.

    Detailed Steps:
    1. Basic Toggle:
Press the Fn key (usually located near the bottom left of the keyboard, next to the Ctrl key) in combination with either F9 or F10. This will usually cycle through the lighting modes (off, low, medium, high, etc.).
    2. NitroSense (If Available):
If your Acer Nitro 5 has the NitroSense application, launch it.
Navigate to the keyboard or lighting settings within NitroSense.
You should find options to customize the color, brightness, and potentially even lighting effects like breathing or wave patterns.
    3. Troubleshooting:
Check the BIOS: If the basic toggle isn't working, restart your laptop and enter the BIOS settings (usually by pressing F2 repeatedly during startup). Look for keyboard backlight settings and ensure they are enabled.
Driver Updates: Make sure your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can update them through the Device Manager in Windows.
