Acer Nitro 7 (AN715-51)- I want to ask if which of the SSD slots supports Gen 3 and Gen 4

Hello! I have an Acer Nitro 7 (AN715-51) from 2019. I want to upgrade my SSD from 256GB to 2TB SSD. I have chosen KINGSTON NV3 NVME 2TB GEN 4 for this.

Now I want to ask if which of the SSD slots supports Gen 3 and Gen 4 because my new SSD is Gen 4 so I want to make the most out of it. Is the slot beside the HDD Gen 3 or 4?

Yes it supports, PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe SSDs. If you put Gen 4 SSD it will run at Gen 3 SSD speed

The Acer Nitro AN715-51 has two M.2 slots, both supporting PCIe Gen 3 x4 NVMe SSDs.

Do you mean that all of the slots only support Gen 3 and that the speed of my Gen 4 will not be fully utilized?
