Hi @DOOMSLAYERPROGAMER 👋 If your PH317-54 won’t boot at all—no logo, no BIOS access—this could be an EC or BIOS corruption issue, especially after installing Windows 11 using generic drivers.

🛠️ Recovery Options (No Bloatware Needed):

    1. BIOS Crisis Recovery (FN+ESC Method):
      • Use another working PC to download BIOS v1.06 from Acer’s official support page
      • Extract the .fd file (usually named Bios_1.06.fd)
      • Rename it to PH31754.fd (if needed)
      • Save the file onto a FAT32-formatted USB drive, using the root directory
      • Plug the USB into the left-side port of the PH317-54
      • Hold Fn + ESC, then press Power
      • Fans should ramp up if recovery mode is triggered
    2. CMOS Battery Reset:
      • If accessible, disconnect both the main battery and CMOS cell
      • Wait ~10 minutes, reconnect, and attempt boot
      • This can clear residual EC faults
    3. Fresh Windows Installation:
      • Create a Windows 10 installer USB using Rufus (Windows 11 may worsen EC driver issues)
      • Disable Secure Boot in BIOS (once accessible)
      • Clean install without OEM apps or bundled utilities
    4. SSD Replacement Strategy:
      • Clone OS to another SSD using a different PC
      • Replace boot SSD and retry startup—this bypasses OS-level EC conflicts

⚠️ Avoid flashing EC firmware or using third-party BIOS tools. If recovery fails, sourcing a pre-programmed BIOS chip flashed with v1.06 is a safer alternative than risking full bricking.

Start by Uninstall any existing PredatorSense software via Control Panel to remove corrupted files. Then, download the correct version — from the Acer PH317-54 support page. Finally, install it by right-clicking the setup file and selecting Run as administrator, then reboot your laptop. On some models, the button may only respond when used with the Fn key.
