I recently picked up a thrown away B3 but its missing the daughter board with the usb interface and micro SD card reader and I need a replacement and also need to connect the power button to the motherboard because the connector is missing.

Below is the power button assembly for this laptop that is on the right side of the laptop, its a switch that connects to a plug that has a + & - pins, get a small metal screwdriver and short the +&- pins which should power the laptop ON. Good luck and hope all this helps you out further.

The red circled area that I've shown above, is the power On/Off right side switch of your TravelMate laptop and your blue circled part, is the Hall Sensor Board as I've shown you above and below here, its impossible that the part below is the power switch, the stylus pen fits into the space below the red circled area, and if your TravelMate laptop has the stylus pen charging feature, it will have the charging circuitries also to charge the stylus pen (which is not shown above). Good luck.

Thank you so much for your help but could I also know where the powerbutton connector is and which pins have to be shorted to startup the board? Thank you!

I need to connect DA0ZBKMB8C1 (MB) to DA0ZBKSS8CQ (PWR BUTTON) but I have no clue what connector to use either.

Thank you for giving me a diagram of the motherboard. However, on my unit, the part you pointed out is just the charger for the stylus as it is only connected to the metal pins in the stylus port. The power button (I circled the board in blue) has a 8 pin connector on it.
