    Hi kiranpilla,

💡 USB-C Video Output on Aspire Lite AL15-51

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port on the Aspire Lite AL15-51 does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, so you can’t connect an external monitor using a USB-C to HDMI cable or adapter. The only native video output is the HDMI port.

However, if you need dual external monitors, there’s a reliable workaround:

    ✅ Use a DisplayLink-Based USB Graphics Adapter

You can use an active USB graphics adapter like the WAVLINK UG6902H, which supports:

    • 2× 4K@60Hz monitors in Extended mode
    • Works via USB-A or USB-C
    • No need for native video output—uses its own graphics chip:

Just install the official DisplayLink driver to enable full functionality. https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-DisplayLink-Graphics-Outputs-Compatible/dp/B094G5JLNC?th=1

⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind

    • Not ideal for gaming or HDCP-protected content (e.g. Netflix)
    • Requires driver installation—it's not plug-and-play
    • Performance depends on USB bandwidth (USB 3.2 Gen 2 is optimal)

🛠️ Summary: If you want to connect external monitors beyond HDMI, a DisplayLink adapter is your best bet. It bypasses the USB-C video limitations and gives you full multi-monitor support for productivity setups.
