What is your laptops model number. Try a reboot and see if the laptop resets, if it doesn't, then do a hard reset and take the main battery out and short the +&- pins at the bios battery plug to reset CMOS, as it could be an EC, Chipset or bios chip issue where one of these programmed chips has frozen and need resetting. Also check the ram if you don't have a faulty ram. Good luck.

Send your new laptop back to Acer Tech Support in your country, as a new laptop should work perfectly and should not have any issues. Do not open the laptop, that is the best advise I can give you. Good luck.

I was experiencing the same issue with my Nitro 16 AN16-41 model device—the Type-C ports suddenly stopped working. I unplugged the charger and made sure the computer was completely shut down. Then I opened the device, removed the battery, and ensured that it wasn’t receiving any power. After that, I held down the power button for a while. Without reconnecting the battery, I plugged in the adapter and pressed the power button to test the device. I confirmed that the ports were working properly, and then reattached the battery to complete the process.
