If you have exhausted all avenues of buying a replacement key for your Predator 300 from the web, then you need to thy to clean the key or take it apart and clean its mechanical parts, to do this, turn the laptop off first and disconnect it from the mains, preferably disconnect the battery also, then use a a circuitry spray cleaner and make sure that you get the spray underneath the Shift key as much as you can and at the same time press the key up and down so that its mechanical parts are cleaned out and its regains its function,

if this doesn't work, then pry the Shift key off the keyboard and clean all the part again, if that doesn't work then you can use the onscreen keyboard (you can get this keyboard by going to Accessibility > keyboard > and turn the On-screen keyboard switch to ON, or you need to buy a new keyboard, as that part of the keyboard is damaged or worn out. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.
