MY Acer KB272 only outputs to 720 x 480 instead of 1920 x 1080, as the monitor should support that. I have tried multiple HDMI cables, which did not fix the issue. I am running directly from a Nintendo Switch 2, but the same happens when connecting from my computer.

Any advice?

You could check the refresh rate is not too high - max 100Hz at 1920x1080.

Already checked that, maybe this will help? This is from my Nintendo Switch 2.

Is the 1920 x 1080 option available on the PC i.e. is it on the list of display resolutions in Settings?

Can you provide a screen shot from Windows DirectX Diagnostics Tool > Display tab > Showing current display mode. You can open this by entering dxdiag into Windows Search box, and selecting dxdiag (Run command) from the results.

    Does this help?

This seems to be implying 1024 x 768 which is not HD but better than 720 x 480.

Can you provide a screenshot for Settings > System > Display > Display resolution (list of resolutions available, including the one labelled "Recommended").

This is what it shows, but when I select 1920 x 1080, it reverts back.
