I have Bluetooth mouse from Logitech M196. When I connect to my ACER Aspire Lite AL15-41 after a while of inactivity mouse gets disconnected. Then I need to remove the device from Bluetooth device list, configure again, but the device does not appear. After restarting system, when I perform same action, it works. This has been recurring. I tried the same mouse with other devices like Dell and Lenovo laptops. There it works without any issue. I have removed the device from paired devices from those laptop and tried connecting. It is producing same issue in this laptop.

Hi, open device manager and uninstall the mouse driver in "Mice and other pointing devices" and just reboot, don't install any drivers but let Windows install the HID Compliant mouse driver.

    Hi There ,

The permanent solution for this issue is to use Bluetooth adapter to use any wireless device mouse/keyboard , Using direct system/device Bluetooth for mouse won't give smoother experience, until you are using a very high end models with ultra core processor and latest standard of wireless adapter.

use below link to buy the adapter , hope this helps.

The Logitech M196 mouse disconnecting after inactivity on an Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41 is a common issue that can stem from power management settings or driver problems. To resolve this, you can try updating drivers, adjusting power settings in Device Manager, or potentially using a Bluetooth adapter instead of the built-in adapter.
    Troubleshooting Steps:-

    1. Update or Reinstall Drivers:
Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start Menu).
Expand "Mice and other pointing devices".
Right-click on your Logitech M196 (or the generic "HID-compliant mouse" if it's not listed) and select "Update driver".
    Choose "Search automatically for drivers".
If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling the driver and then restarting your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall a generic driver.
    2. Adjust Power Management Settings:
In Device Manager, locate the Bluetooth radio under "Bluetooth".
Right-click on it and select "Properties".
Go to the "Power Management" tab.
Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
    Click "OK".

    3. Consider a Bluetooth Adapter:
If the issue persists, the built-in Bluetooth adapter on your Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41 might not be compatible or reliable with the Logitech M196.
A dedicated Bluetooth adapter (USB dongle) could offer a more stable connection.
Some users on the Acer Community have suggested this solution.
    4. Check Battery:
Ensure your Logitech M196 has fresh batteries.
Low battery power can cause connectivity issues.
    5. Remove and Re-pair:
Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
Locate the Logitech M196 in the list.
Click on it and select "Remove device".
Re-pair the mouse with your laptop.
