Hi! Acer Aspire 3 A315-35 I want to control the fan, but where can I do that? It's not in the BIOS, Quick Access, Acer Sense, or Care Center. So, where can I control the fan now? (It probably doesn't work in external applications.)

Hello again, I downloaded the version you mentioned but it was not there again and my device is Windows 10 and I just want to set it manually, that is, not in Windows' own settings, just manually.

For Acer Aspire 3 A315-35, fan control is often managed through the manufacturer's software or by adjusting power options. You can check for pre-installed Acer software or utilize Windows' power management settings to influence fan speed. If those options are insufficient, you might explore third-party fan control software, but be cautious and ensure it's compatible with your specific model.
    Detailed Explanation:

    1. Manufacturer's Software:
Many Acer laptops come with pre-installed software that allows for fan control. Check for Acer Care Center or similar applications. These often provide options to adjust fan speed based on temperature or performance modes (e.g., silent, balanced, performance).
Look for a fan icon or cooling icon on your keyboard. Often, you can press Fn + the fan key to cycle through different fan modes.
    2. Windows Power Options:
Windows also provides some control over fan behavior through power plans.
Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options. Click "Change plan settings" and then "Change advanced power settings".
Find "Processor power management" and then "System cooling policy". Here, you can set the policy to "Active" to potentially increase fan speed or "Passive" to let the system manage it automatically.
    3. Third-Party Software:
If the pre-installed software or Windows options are not sufficient, you might consider third-party fan control software.
Caution: Be careful when using third-party software and ensure it is reputable and compatible with your specific laptop model (Acer Aspire 3 A315-35).
Some users have mentioned using Notebook Fan Control (NBFC) or similar tools.
You may need to find a configuration file specific to your laptop model within the software.
    4. BIOS Settings:
While less common, some laptops allow basic fan control adjustments through the BIOS settings. Access the BIOS by pressing the appropriate key (often F2, F10, or Delete) during startup. Look for fan-related settings within the BIOS menus.
