Acer Nitro ANV15-51 Extreme Performance Loss in Games After Windows BIOS Update

My laptop model is Acer Nitro ANV15-51. RTX 4060 75 Watt, i7 13620H, 16 GB 5200MHz DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD, 165Hz 3ms monitor, Windows 11 Home Single Language.

BIOS Version/Date INSYDE Corp. V1.26, 03/21/2025
SMBIOS Version 3.4

About 1 month ago Windows Update updated the BIOS. After this update, while playing games, the GPU usage that was normally 100% and stable FPS started to drop FPS due to constantly fluctuating GPU usage. The GPU suddenly drops from 90% to 60% and then goes up to 80% etc. It never stays stable and that's why, for example, the game I normally play at 180 FPS is now playing at 100 FPS or below and freezing occurs. When I try to download BIOS from the official website of the product and install the BIOS, I get the error "this bios file is not allow to flash. the flash process will be terminated". That's why I can't update the BIOS. There are no other changes on the computer, the source of the problem is definitely the BIOS update because I started having this problem right after this update.

This problem has been answered yesterday on this forum for the exact thing, search the Acer community answers on the ANV15-51 as there are allot of solutions for the bios 1.26 update problems. As you might need to reprogram the EC or the bios chips to an earlier program by a technician that has the proper tools to do a bios reflash. Good luck.

First of all, thank you. I don't want to send the laptop to service for a BIOS update. I don't think I can do the necessary procedures myself, as most users can't. I wish a new BIOS update would come out as soon as possible and this problem would be fixed. Could you please forward this problem to the relevant authorities?

Also, I just bought the laptop. It's been exactly 3 months. That's why I don't want to send it to service. Then, while trying to fix one thing, they break something else. I've had these kinds of problems before.
