Acer Aspire A715-79G battery lasts less than an hour, anyone else facing this?

I purchased the Acer Aspire A715-79G in may 2025, but the battery performance has been disappointing. It drains very quickly and doesn’t even last an hour. I’m wondering if other users are facing the same issue. If not, has anyone successfully claimed a warranty for the battery?

    Hi @Rutvik_Parmar An hour is actually very short, and first of all, you should know how your computer is configured. Battery drain is related to computer usage and factors such as brightness, open applications or applications running in the background, or the use of multimedia content such as movies or similar from websites.
    It also depends on the power mode configured: if it's set to maximum performance, the consumption is higher; if it's set to balanced, it's lower.
    If battery consumption is still high and the mode is set to balanced and you're not using multimedia content online, you should contact Acer's warranty services:

    support.acer.com

    Your battery, however, is only 4 cells and its maximum theoretical life is 7 hours, but in reality, with moderate use, it should last around 3/4 hours:

    It's also possible that the battery isn't in good chemical condition and that's the reason for the consumption, but this should be verified by technical support.
