Can I upgrade the RAM in this laptop? It has 4GB DDR3 And is using 2of2 slots according to task manager, I want to remove a 2GB stick and put in a 4GB I have. (I know this is not optimal, dual channel stuff, blah blah blah but I need more RAM than 4GB and IDC if it runs at 800MHZ Rather Than 1333MHZ)

So, can I upgrade it?

The Aspire A315-31 is a 2017 released model laptop and its ram is soldered onto the mainboard and it can't be upgraded, as its got NO removal type slots for added ram modules. This laptop operates on 4GB DDR3L 1600MT/s onboard type ram. If you want more ram you need to upgrade your Aspire A315-31 to a new Aspire laptop like the A315-59 or newer that has removable ram and that you can afford. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
