I bought an Acer Nitro V16 with RTX 4060. The RGB works but it won't boot up. Bought it on Amazon

If your Nitro V16 ANV16-xx laptop (whichever V16 model you have) is less than 12 months old and you have a boot problem or the RGB keyboard has a problems, then send your laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country and go to the Acer Support Options page and on the right go to Repair My Acer page, fill all the information out for the warranty repair and send it to Acer.

If the Nitro V16 ANV16-xx model you have is not under the Acer warranty, then I suggest that you take your laptop to an experienced technician that can analyse and pinpoint why your V16 is not booting, as it could be the main power rail or an EC or Chipset chips that either need a Hard Reset or these chips are faulty or shorted and need replacing. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Hi, try holding the power button for 15 seconds, it's best to disconnect the AC adapter first. This ensures the system fully discharges any residual power, helping clear firmware or battery controller glitches more effectively. Once you've held it down and released, you can plug the adapter back in and try powering the system on normally.

Try a Power Reset by unplugging the charger, holding the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnecting the charger and powering it back on. Test with an External Monitor via HDMI or USB-C — if it shows output, the issue may lie with the built-in screen or display cable
