Control center not working on Acer Aspire A715-79G

Got a brand new Aspire A715-79G last month. Ran like a dream until last week where the control center app which controls the RGB, the fan speed and CPU power mode stopped working, in the sense that the app does not launch anymore, even though the control center file is there, even when pressing the shortcuts to open it or do anything the app does not work. Any fixes? I'm using Control Center 3.0 as an alternative for now

The A715-79G appears to be a region-specific model, primarily distributed in India and Southeast Asia. On the Acer India support page, there’s a bundled driver package available, but individual drivers and utilities (like Control Center) aren’t listed separately.

You can try downloading the driver bundle from Acer India’s site: Acer India Driver Portal. It may include chipset, audio, and GPU drivers in one archive. Uninstall Control Center 3.0 in Windows "Add or remove programs" and use Windows Update > Advanced Options > Optional Updates — this pulls in missing drivers like Control Center or firmware updates.

Download the latest version from Acer’s A715-79G support page, install it, and then reboot your laptop to complete setup.
