I have Acer Aspire 7 A715-51G ,Core i5 1240P,8GB Ram, RTX 3050 4GB. It was maybe a 2022 model. Can I upgrade my SSD to 1TB? It is now 512 GB.

The Acer Aspire 7 A715-51G has two M.2 PCIe slots for NVMe SSDs: One slot supports PCIe Gen 4 x4, ideal for high-speed NVMe drives like the Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB. The second slot supports PCIe Gen 3 x4 like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB.

Yes, the Acer Aspire 7 laptop can be upgraded to a 1TB SSD. The Acer Aspire 7 typically has an M.2 slot that supports NVMe PCIe SSDs, and these can be upgraded to 1TB or even larger sizes. You can either replace the existing SSD or add a second SSD if your model has an additional M.2 slot.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:-

M.2 Slot: The Acer Aspire 7 typically features an M.2 slot that supports NVMe PCIe SSDs.
SSD Compatibility: You can use either a Gen 3 or Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD in this slot.
Capacity: The M.2 slot can accommodate SSDs up to 2TB or more.
Replacement or Addition: Depending on your specific Acer Aspire 7 model, you might have the option to replace the existing SSD or add a second one in another available M.2 slot.
Cloning: If you're replacing the primary SSD, you'll need to clone the data from the old drive to the new one or reinstall the operating system.
Warranty: Upgrading the SSD might not void your warranty, but it's recommended to check with Acer support to be certain.
