You have a M.2 SSD slot, and you can install a NVMe  M.2 SSD or a M.2 SATA SSD.

Yes, you can add an NVMe SSD to an Acer Aspire A515, and it may even have a second M.2 slot for this purpose. Many models support both SATA and NVMe SSDs.
    Here's a more detailed explanation:-

    M.2 Slots:
The Acer Aspire A515 typically has one or two M.2 slots. One slot is usually for NVMe SSDs, and the other might be used for a second NVMe SSD or a SATA SSD.
    Compatibility:
Most Acer Aspire A515 models support NVMe SSDs in these slots.
    Storage Options:
You can replace the existing HDD with an NVMe SSD or add an NVMe SSD as a secondary storage device, leaving the HDD in place.
    Brands:
You can use any reputable brand of NVMe SSD like Samsung, Western Digital, Crucial, etc.
    Capacity:
There are no specific size limitations, but you should check the maximum supported capacity for your specific model.
    Installation:
Upgrading is generally straightforward. You'll need to open the laptop, locate the M.2 slot, and carefully install the SSD, securing it with a screw.
