I have Acer predator Helios neo 16 2024 model, it's very difficult to carry 240watt charger while traveling as laptop weight and charger weight is pretty heavy, can anyone recommend any charging adapter and type c cable through which I can charge my laptop using type c thunderbolt 4 port.

Hi, I have the PHN16-71 with the i5 CPU, any 100W USB-C laptop charger with 5A fixed heavy USB-C cord will work with both ports but the system will detect it as a "battery" and flag that the power is low, not recommended for gaming but OK for most other applications. This is the charger that I used: https://rog.asus.com/power-protection-gadgets/chargers-and-adapters/rog-100w-usb-c-adapter-model/ Don't use larger chargers as TBT4 PD support is limited to 100 Watt.

Well no problem with the Charger is larger really, as long as it works - 100 Watt is set to the maximum, but if find some charger that is bigger, 120 watt or 140 watt it is not an issue as long as it works for the laptop. The Highest charging I have had on the Laptop with USB is 84 watts or so, i need to test some more - but one of the chargers I have tend to go from around 84 watts to around 50 or so after some time which the other does not. Both of these are DC to DC - also you might get different results with different USB cables, it is kind of a thing, test and try and find the best that works together. Sadly so.
One charger might do good with one cable but fail with another - I have never found a USB cable that works with everything sadly, it depends on the charger, cable and unit.

So even if you have a charger that does not seem to work, try testing it with some other cables, and further test if one does better then another if multiple works.

It is nice with watt tester to keep an eye on it, but you could do some testing seeing how fast an empty battery charges to full and see if something does better then another. Anyway….. WTRM USB C C4 or C5 might be a good tool for checking that, Amazon for that.
