Hi!

The hot key combo is no longer bringing up the in-game dash thing. Any suggestions?

Last seen when using and 32:9 ultra-wide display. Perhaps it is "showing outside" my laptop screen… but that would seem odd.

The "PredatorSense-button +CTRL Combo keys" do NOT bring anything up in that laptop, and whatever the "up the in-game dash thing" is??? So be more specific as your question doesn't make sense.

@StevenGen Yes, normally it brings up a smaller version of PredatorSense, showing metrics. It worked fine for a while but then suddenly stopped working.

The PredatorSense button combined with CTRL to bring up the in-game dash may not be working due to a few reasons. First, ensure the PredatorSense application is running correctly. Try restarting the application or your computer with the application open. If that doesn't work, you can try reinstalling the application after using a tool like Revo Uninstaller to remove any leftover files and registry entries.

Finally, if you're still having trouble, you might need to check if the specific HID-compliant device associated with the PredatorSense button is enabled in Device Manager.

    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    1. Ensure PredatorSense is Running: Open the PredatorSense application and Restart your computer with the application already running.
    2. Reinstall PredatorSense:
Use a tool like Revo Uninstaller to completely uninstall the PredatorSense application, including registry files and cache.
Download the latest version of PredatorSense from the Acer support website.
Install the application and restart your computer.
    3. Check Device Manager:
    Open Device Manager.
    Navigate to "Human Interface Devices".
Look for "HID-compliant device" or similar entries.
Try disabling/re-enabling these devices to see if it resolves the issue.
    4. Startup and Services:
To prevent PredatorSense from starting automatically, you can:
Go to Services, find the Predator Service, and change its startup type to "Disabled".
In Task Scheduler, disable the PredatorSense and PredatorSense UI tasks.

Start by restarting the PredatorSense Service in Task Manager under the Services tab. If the issue persists, uninstall PredatorSense from Control Panel > Programs & Features, restart your laptop, and reinstall the latest version from Acer’s official site. Additionally, check for Windows updates in Settings > Windows Update, as some updates may affect PredatorSense functionality. Lastly, verify that the hotkey combo is still assigned correctly in PredatorSense settings, as updates may reset key bindings
