I have owned my acer Travelmate -214-52 laptop (i3 10th gen) for about 3 years now. Since I bought this, it's really slow since it only came with an HDD. I notice the problem almost 2 years ago that it won't open sometimes, but it will eventually. I have also replaced the hdd with an ssd last week. I don't come from a wealthy family so I can't really go to a laptop repair shop all the time. Please help me DIY this problem, thank you?

    Hi migol

Shut machine off by pressing and holding the power button. Remove charger. Then gently insert a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of the laptop for about 30 seconds. Then plug the charger back in. Try to turn the machine on again.

Remove the charger again. Press and hold the paperclip into the reset pinhole again. Then while still pressing & holding the paperclip in the pinhole, press and hold the power button for one minute. Then plug the charger back in but wait for the battery LED to turn blue. Then try to turn it back on again.
