Nitro ANV15-51 Nitrosense buggy, fan not spinning, no mode available, cannot control fan speed

Hi, I bought Nitro ANV15-51 during July last year. 1 week after buying, Nitrosense app was running into issue already: fan not spinning + app as good as useless since any clicking wasn't resulting in any function. I brought to my country's service centre, but same issue happened again few days later.

At that point, I figured that a temporary fix was to just re-install Nitrosense app even though we as consumers shouldn't have to be troubled into doing as that's not how the app should be functioning.

Anyways, I just re-installed it everytime it happened, until the most recent update to Nitrosense where I believe they tried to fix the issue. However, it only lasted a week for me before the issue happened again. Now re-installing Nitrosense doesn't work either, so not only did Acer NOT fix the issue, they also made the temporary fix broken.

I have tried re-installing Nitrosense, checking for any Windows update, running the cmd "lodctr /R", and basically any plausible method I could find online, but the app is still not working (I can hear the fan spinning but I cannot control it through app).

Please advise what do I do now, but I will NOT do a factory reset because as a consumer, I should not be troubled into doing that as a result of the company's failure in making a well-functioning software. I also tried using the previous Nitrosense version but it would just say "MUI_OPERATING_MODE_UNDEFINED".

TL;DR
Nitrosense not working: Laptop temperature and fan running speed not detected, no mode available, cannot control fan speed, re-installing or running "lodctr /R" no longer fix the issue.

    Welcome @CZE,

    Try Windows Performance Counter reset:

    1) Close the NitroSense app;

    2) Open a Command Prompt / Windows Terminal (Administrator mode);

    3) Type these commands (copy & paste):

    %SystemRoot%\System32\lodctr.exe /R
    %SystemRoot%\SysWow64\lodctr.exe /R
    winmgmt.exe /RESYNCPERF

    4) Restart your computer.
