Hi, there are only generic Linux tools available like:
    lm-sensors (for temperature monitoring)
fancontrol (for manual fan speed adjustments)
    power-profiles-daemon (for power management)

Yes, since Acer doesn't offer most models with Linux installed from the factory, they haven't developed Linux specific utilities, only Windows.

No, AcerSense, as it's designed for Windows, is not directly installable on Linux. However, there are open-source projects like Acer-RGB-Keyboard-Linux-Module-GUI that aim to provide similar functionality for Acer laptops on Linux, such as controlling RGB keyboard lighting and turbo mode. Elaboration:

    • AcerSense's Primary Purpose: AcerSense is primarily designed as a Windows-specific utility for monitoring and managing various aspects of Acer devices, including performance, battery status, and even controlling RGB lighting on some models.
    • Lack of Native Linux Support: The official AcerSense application is not designed to run natively on Linux operating systems.
    • Alternative Solutions (Open-Source Projects):Due to the lack of official support, open-source projects like Acer-RGB-Keyboard-Linux-Module-GUI offer alternative solutions. These projects aim to provide similar functionalities like controlling RGB keyboard lighting and turbo mode on Linux.
    • Community Involvement: These projects are often developed and maintained by the Linux community, relying on contributions and testing from users.
    • Functionality: While they might not offer the full range of features of the Windows-based AcerSense, they can provide useful tools for managing specific aspects of your Acer device on Linux.
