Hey. I have a problem with my nitro 5 laptop. I haven't been able to play anything for some time now. I have 10-15 FPS. I reinstalled the system, clean install, I've tried everything. The only thing that helps is reinstalling the graphics card drivers or disabling the graphics card in the device manager and re-enabling it, after which everything works until I restart the computer. After restarting I have 10-15 FPS again, after disabling the graphics card in the device manager and re-enabling it everything goes back to normal. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Follow these all-

    1. Turn off fast startup from settings
    • Open Control Panel > Power Options.
    • Click Choose what the power buttons do.
    • Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
    • Uncheck Turn on fast startup under Shutdown settings.
    • Click Save changes.

    2. Add game in windows graphics settings

    • Open Graphics Settings:
Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics.
    • Add Game Executable:
Under "Add an app," choose Desktop app, click Browse, find and select your game.exe, then click Add.

Low FPS in games on an Acer Nitro 5 can stem from various factors, including outdated drivers, background processes, and even overheating. To address the issue, consider updating drivers, disabling background apps, checking power settings, and ensuring proper cooling.
Troubleshooting Low FPS in Acer Nitro 5 Games:

    1. Update Drivers:
Graphics Drivers: Ensure your NVIDIA or AMD graphics drivers are up to date, especially if you've recently installed or upgraded a game. Use the NVIDIA website or AMD website to find the latest drivers for your GPU.
Chipset Drivers: Update the chipset drivers for your CPU, as they can affect overall system performance.
    2. Disable Background Processes:
Unnecessary Apps: Close any applications or processes running in the background that you don't need while gaming, as they can consume resources and cause lag.
Background Apps: Disable background apps in Windows settings to reduce resource consumption.
    3. Check Power Settings:
Performance Profile: Select the "High Performance" or "Best Performance" power plan to ensure maximum CPU and GPU power during gaming.
Battery Saver: Disable battery saver mode as it can throttle CPU and GPU performance.
    4. Monitor Temperatures:
Overheating: If your Nitro 5 is overheating, it can lead to performance throttling and low FPS. Use a monitoring tool to check CPU and GPU temperatures during gaming.
Clean Vents: Ensure the vents on your Nitro 5 are not blocked by dust or debris, as this can hinder cooling.
    5. Check Game Settings:
Graphics Settings: Adjust the graphics settings in the game to lower the visual intensity and improve FPS.
Resolution: Reduce the resolution to a lower setting if necessary.

Temperatures are fine. Nothing heats up. I explain that everything works every time I turn off the graphics card in the device manager and turn it on again. I have to repeat this every time I turn off and on the computer, if I do not turn off the graphics card in the device manager after turning on the computer I have 10-15 FPS and I can't play so I turn off the graphics card again and turn it on and then everything is fine. Everything is set to high performance. I even took the batteries out of the laptop and play on the power cable because the battery gave off extra heat. 10-15 degrees more. The RTX 3060 graphics card is 65-70 degrees at Frost Punk 2 with a cooling pad.
