If your Acer Iconia W510 suddenly stopped working and isn't turning on despite being charged, it could be due to a few reasons. First, try a soft reset by holding the power button for 30 seconds, says a JustAnswer expert. If that doesn't work, check if the charger is working and properly connected. If the charging light doesn't come on, the charger or port might be faulty. Another possibility is that the battery is deeply discharged, so leave it plugged in for a longer period to see if it charges. Finally, if none of these solutions work, the tablet may have a more serious hardware issue and require professional repair.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:

    1. Soft Reset:
      Disconnect the charger.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then release.
See if the tablet turns on or shows any signs of life.
    2. Charging Check:
Make sure the charger is connected securely to the tablet and the power outlet.
Try a different charger and power outlet to rule out a faulty charger or outlet.
Check if the charging light on the charger or tablet comes on when plugged in.
    3. Battery Issues:
If the tablet doesn't turn on even when connected to the charger, the battery might be deeply discharged.
Leave it plugged in for a longer period (e.g., overnight) to see if it starts charging and turns on.
    4. Hardware Problems:
If the tablet still doesn't turn on after trying the above steps, it could be a hardware issue like a faulty battery, motherboard, or other components.
Consult with Acer support or a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the tablet.

You can fix power issues by updating your laptop's power or battery management settings. Replace the CMOS battery if required. If none of these work, then you might have a faulty motherboard.
