Change the screen a the above screen is faulty that is why its only showing half a screen. These screen are cheap, also change the eDP cable to make sure you have a good connection from the screen to the mainboard.

The touchscreen in your Aspire V5-571PG / V5-571P is not rare, this touchscreens model AUO B156XTN03.1 is available on Amazon or search the web for a retailer that has this screen model number and can ship this to you, as Amazon only ships to the US as they are readily available with other retailers, Good luck,

These are all the screens specified for the Aspire V5-571PG / V5-571P

this must be why the cables don't last too I found I have had to replace three as the covering on the connector comes off too bad too as they are nice and light weight

    Thank you will try

Go to settings by pressing Windows key + I
Go to display settings and adjust the scaling and layout.

    Kindly open device manager.
    Look for Display adapter
Expand that to see your display driver.
Right click on it then click update.
Choose automatically select for updated driver software.
Choose update then restart your computer.
    See if issue persists.

If so, go to device manager again then uninstall the driver for display.
Delete the driver then restart the computer.
It should automatically install the driver and see if it will address your concern.

    Hope this will help.

I think the cable went bad but seem costly for that one 50.4VM14.001 I did find this one 50.4VM06.002 will that work instead of does it have to be the 50.4VM14.001 one as they want up to 30.00 and if it is not the cable then I stuck where I was

    Thank you
