Hi, could me help me my acer nitro 5(intel is 3050ti rtx ) doesn’t power on. On press of power button it turn the indicator one for 5sec (no sign of power like keyboard light or fans spin) and turn back off. I try switching ram , removing secondary ssd , changing ssd slot, try to boot with battery unpluged, nothing work for me . But when you plug changer the battery indicator works fine (orange<likely charging) and if you keep it plugged it turn blue (changed).

Hi @killershark998 I understand that the device only powers on with the power adapter, is that correct?

When the power adapter is connected, does the battery reach 100% charge?

If this is the case, the problem is likely with the battery. You should take the device to a technical service center for inspection.

it doesn't power on at all . If i plug the charger , charging indicator turn orange and if leave longer turn blue. I try disconnecting the battery connector and directly power from the charger still no power to the fans or keyboards. Do you still think its a battery issue?

If your Acer Nitro 5 only briefly illuminates the power indicator for 5 seconds when you press the power button, it could indicate an issue with the power supply, BIOS, or possibly a hardware component like RAM. Here's a troubleshooting guide:

    1. Check the Power Adapter and Outlet:
Make sure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the laptop and the outlet. Try a different outlet to rule out a faulty socket.
If the adapter is damaged, you'll need to replace it.
    2. Power Cycle and Hard Reset:
Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
Press and hold the power button for 60-90 seconds to discharge any residual power.
Reinsert the battery and try to power on.
    3. Check for BIOS Access:
Try booting into the BIOS by repeatedly pressing F2 (or your specific BIOS key) while the laptop is powering on. If you can enter the BIOS, you might be able to see information about potential hardware issues.
You can also try resetting the BIOS to default settings.
    4. Check RAM:
If you have access to the RAM, try removing and reseating it, or even trying one RAM stick at a time.
    5. Check for External Devices:
Disconnect any external devices (like USB drives, monitors, etc.) that might be causing a boot issue.
    6. Perform a Battery Reset (if possible):
Some Acer laptops have a reset button on the bottom panel. Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold it for a few seconds to perform a battery reset.
    7. Consult Acer Support:
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's best to contact Acer support or a qualified technician for further diagnosis.
