Trouble using BLXStrap for VR tracking on Acer Predator – any tips?

I’ve been working on improving VR tracking setups using my Acer Predator laptop and wanted to experiment with a more flexible system. I came across the bloxstrap utility, which connects custom tracking hardware through OpenVR. It looks ideal for bridging SteamVR with non-standard gear, especially for room-scale experiences or motion capture experiments.

The issue I’m facing is that while SteamVR recognizes the custom trackers via BLXStrap, the performance on my Acer machine is inconsistent. Sometimes the tracker data doesn't sync properly in games, and occasionally there's latency or drift that seems hardware-specific.

I’m wondering if anyone here has used bloxstrap on an Acer setup—especially on gaming models like the Predator series. Is there anything I should check regarding USB bandwidth, sensor compatibility, or system tweaks that might improve integration?

Any tips would be great. Thanks for your time!

Since this is an additional accessory, it will of course vary depending on the hardware speed. Let us know the model and brand of your computer, what features it has, such as processor version, graphics adapter, ram, etc. and what operating system you have. We can provide you with detailed information.
