MY PRODUCT DETAILS: PREDATOR HELIOS NEO 16 (System Model Predator PHN16-72)

NVIDIA 4050 RTX GPU , 16GB RAM , 1TB STORAGE

  1. FPS Stuttering & Screen Tearing – I have been experiencing frequent stuttering and screen tearing while using my device, especially during gaming and high-performance tasks. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, including updating drivers ,updating Windows / reinstall windows and adjusting display settings, the issue persists. Also my BIOS version is up to date
  2. Severely Distorted Speaker Audio – The sound output from the built-in speakers and earphones/headphones is extremely distorted, producing a cracking and broken noise instead of clear audio.

I attached two videos showing my drivers are up to date and I'm running my games using NVIDIA GPU and GSYNC (i.e. using maximum performance) and FPS Drops | distorted sound while playing game (and I already tried changing it's graphic settings (using LOW preset) but still my fps is stuttering) DRIVE LINK FOR VIDEOS:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17uIg54mGWQOtFGwvdNLPLbTsIjX9jv01?usp=drive_link

I don't know why this is happening despite having a powerful GPU. If anyone knows a solution, please help. I have already reported this issue to ail.easycare@acer.com, but I haven't received a response yet.

Download and run UserBenchmark on your system

After opening UserBenchmark, perform the pre-benchmark test.

Click on "Ignore Problems" if prompted, and then start the full benchmark suite.

If you receive a "server full" message, completely close the application and try again.

The app may prompt you to purchase or upgrade to the Pro version. You do not need to buy or upgrade-just ignore these prompts.

If you continue to see the "server full" message, close UserBenchmark completely and try again. For most users, the app will eventually ask you to join a queue. When it does, click "Join Queue."

After a short wait (sometimes a small game may appear) when we click on queue, the benchmark will begin.

Once the benchmark is complete, copy the link to your results page and post it here.

If you're facing such a problem, your graphics card is the main reason behind it. Consider using a cooling pad to protect it from overheating. Also , perform a clean boot if the problem exists.

The Acer Predator PHN16-72 gaming laptop is experiencing issues with FPS stuttering, screen tearing, and speaker distortion. These problems are occurring despite troubleshooting steps like driver updates, Windows updates, and BIOS updates.
Here's a breakdown of the issues and potential solutions:

    1. FPS Stuttering and Screen Tearing:
      Cause:
These issues can stem from a variety of factors, including software conflicts, hardware limitations, or thermal issues.
      Troubleshooting:
Driver Updates: Ensure your graphics drivers (NVIDIA or AMD) are up-to-date. You can also try reinstalling them, especially if you suspect corruption.
Game Settings: Adjust in-game settings to reduce visual demands and potentially alleviate stuttering, as well as screen tearing.
Thermal Management: Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay. Overheating can lead to throttling and performance drops. Consider using an external cooling pad or optimizing the laptop's cooling profile.
Power Options: Experiment with different power modes in Windows to see if it affects performance.
Software Conflicts: Identify and disable any unnecessary background software that might be interfering with the game.
Clean Windows Install: As a last resort, consider a clean installation of Windows to eliminate potential software conflicts.
    2. Speaker Distortion:
      Cause:
Speaker distortion can be due to software issues, driver problems, or even hardware malfunctions.
      Troubleshooting:
Driver Updates: Ensure your audio drivers are up-to-date.
Software Conflicts: Disable any audio enhancements or background audio programs that might be causing issues.
Audio Settings: Experiment with different audio settings in Windows and the game itself.
Hardware Check: If the distortion persists even when using headphones or external speakers, it might indicate a hardware issue, and you should contact Acer support.
BIOS Updates: Make sure your BIOS is up to date, as updates can sometimes address audio-related bugs.
Warranty: If the issue is hardware-related, and the laptop is under warranty, contact Acer support for assistance or repair.
