It sounds like your Acer Swift Go has a limit on how much the brightness can be reduced.

Check Advanced Power Settings – Go to Power Options (right-click the battery icon), then Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings. Under Display, adjust Display brightness, Dimmed display brightness, and Enable adaptive brightness. If your brightness controls aren't working properly, updating or rolling back your Intel graphics driver might help.

Some brightness issues can be fixed by updating your BIOS. Visit Acer’s support website to check for updates. Acer Downloads

First, adjust the power settings by going to Control PanelPower Options, selecting your current power plan, and modifying the Display Brightness under Advanced Power Settings. Next, enable Night Light in SettingsDisplay, which reduces screen brightness and minimizes blue light emission. You can also switch to Dark Mode in SettingsPersonalizationColors, which darkens backgrounds and lowers overall brightness strain. Additionally, check the brightness keys on your laptop (usually F keys) to ensure they are working properly.

    Solutions tried:
    1. BIOS is the latest.
    2. The power settings do not have brightness thing under the display, attaching the screenshot for the same.

To achieve very low or even zero brightness on your Acer Swift Go 14, you can adjust the brightness using the Windows brightness settings or the Windows Mobility Center. You can also explore advanced power options or try using third-party software like OpenRGB to fine-tune your display settings.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:

    1. Windows Brightness Settings:
      Using the battery icon:
Click the battery icon in the taskbar, then click the brightness icon to adjust the brightness slider.
      Windows Mobility Center:
Press Windows key + X, select "Mobility Center," and adjust the brightness slider.
    2. Advanced Power Options:
Right-click the battery icon, select "Power Options," then "Change plan settings," and then "Change advanced power settings".
Expand "Display" and adjust settings for "Display brightness," "Dimmed display brightness," and "Enable adaptive brightness".
    3. Third-party software (OpenRGB):
OpenRGB is a software that lets you control RGB lighting effects, including brightness, across supported devices, without needing to run vendor-specific apps.
    4. Other Tips:
      Fn key combinations:
Some Acer laptops use Fn + F keys or arrow keys to adjust brightness, so check your keyboard.
      BIOS settings:
If the issue persists in Windows, check the BIOS settings for display brightness.
      Driver issues:
Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date, as driver issues can affect brightness settings.
      Power saver mode:
If you have power saver mode enabled, it might be dimming the screen, so disable it if needed.
