Hello, I recently had to reinstall a fresh version of windows and doing so completely removed PD sense from my computer. I have reinstalled both acer care centre as well as the predator sense drivers but after setting up and launching the predator application starts for a few seconds than disappears. The application seems to crash. Tried running as admin no help. Am i missing some other essential drivers that PD sense uses?

    1. Download the free version of Revo uninstaller and uninstalled PredatorSense with it. It's important to let revo scan after uninstall because it'll find garbage files in registry that sense leaves behind and probably corrupts any new install. Let it clear those files.
    2. Go to Acer's website and download PredatorSense for your laptop. (If there's different version of PredatorSense available then try them all one by one and check which one work for you)
    3. Extract folder and run Setup.exe. Now don't open.
    4. Run Command prompt as Administrator
    5. type in the following and press enter (without the quotation marks): ".\lodctr.exe /R"
    6. Go back to the folder where you extracted PredatorSense
    7. Go into Predator Sende UMP folder or similar folder will be there which contains APPXBUNDLE FILE.
    8. Run APPXBUNDLE file
    9. After that, PredatorSense immediately will launch.

If Predator Sense on your Acer Predator Triton 300 opens briefly and then closes, try closing all PredatorSense related processes in Task Manager, then open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command lodctr /R. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Predator Sense from the Acer support website. Another potential fix involves running the PSLauncher icon as administrator, located in C:/ Acer > Program Files > Acer > PredatorSense Services, as a shortcut might not be correctly linked to the program, according to one Acer Community post.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:

    1. Close Task Manager processes:
Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), Find all processes related to PredatorSense, and End the task for each process.
    2. Run Command Prompt as administrator:
Search for "Command Prompt" in the Start Menu.
Right-click and select "Run as administrator."
Type lodctr /R and press Enter.
    3. Reinstall Predator Sense:
Go to the Acer support website for your Predator Triton 300.
Download the latest version of Predator Sense.
Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
    4. Run PSLauncher as administrator:
Go to C:/ Acer > Program Files > Acer > PredatorSense Services.
Find and double-click the PSLauncher icon.
When prompted, click "Yes" to run as administrator.

Hi, what version of Predator Sense are you installing, version 3.00.3136 only works with Windows10. Are you sure you installed W10 22H2 and not Windows11 24H2?

Download and install the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, specifically versions 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022. You need to install both x86 and x64 version. This is necessary for the NitroSense application to function properly. You can find it on the Microsoft website here.

If this still doesn't work, try downloading and installing the Microsoft Visual C++ All-in-One pack. If nitrosense need a specific version not available above then this will help, use the link I provided to download and install the latest x86 and x64 Visual C++ All-in-One pack:

Make sure that you uninstall completely from your Predator PT315-51 the Acer Care Center if you have this installed, as this software conflicts with Predator Sense and will stop PS from functioning properly, try that and see if PS will install as this happened to my Predator Neo and once I've done that it worked 100%. Good luck.

@Puraw Yeah made sure of that, @GAMING6698 I have installed the all in one pack. That was a life saver would of hated downloading individually. Unfortunately hasn't fixed my problem either as the application logo pops up and than seems to crash again. I also took @StevenGen advice and uninstall acer care. seem to that's the issue. just reinstalled PS and still same issue. I'm not sure what's happening but its quite frustrating. I was hoping it would be a simple driver download lol

@GAMING6698 @Axxo You too are wizards. Thank you so much. took a little troubleshooting on my end but those last steps seemed to fix the problem. Application launched instantly. Definitely would of been stuffed without use! 😀
