Packing tape residue on Predator Z57 screen

Hello.

I recently installed my Predator Z57 screen (which is awesome, BTW), but the tape which had been placed around the bezel of the screen left some halo marks on the screen itself, which are visible on dark/black backgrounds.

I tried to remove them with eyeglass cleaning wipes, but these did nothing, and I do not want to experiment with harsher cleaning agents without knowing what will and will not damage the screen surface.

Could someone from Acer kindly chime in with the recommended cleaning procedure to remove your packing tape residue?

Thanks!

Use a solution of equal parts distilled water and white vinegar can be effective for screens with stickers and oily marks from fingerprints or other sources. Apply this mixture to a microfiber cloth and gently clean the affected areas. Follow up with a water-dampened cloth to remove any vinegar residue as its safe to use on an LCD screen without damaging the screen material.
