How can I create a hotkey or self defined key on my Acer Aspire 5 laptop to avoid having to type it out several times a day?

You can create a hotkey for repeated text on your Acer Aspire 5 using built-in Windows features or third-party software. Here are a few methods:
    Using Windows Text Shortcuts:
Open Settings > Devices > Typing.
Look for Text Suggestions and AutoCorrect (available in some versions).
Add a shortcut phrase that expands into your repeated text.

    Using Microsoft Word AutoText:
Open Word and type the repeated text.
Select it, then go to Insert > Quick Parts > Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery.
Assign a shortcut key via File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Keyboard Shortcuts.

Using AutoHotkey or PhraseExpress (Third-Party Software):
Download and install. Create a script with a hotkey or Set up text expansion shortcuts for frequently used phrases.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

To create a hotkey or shortcut on your Acer Aspire 5 laptop, you can use Windows Shortcuts or AutoHotkey (AHK). With Windows Shortcuts, simply create a new shortcut, enter the file path, name it, and assign a shortcut key under Properties. Alternatively, AutoHotkey (AHK) lets you define custom key actions by creating a script, and run it
