Dear Community, I try to find the information which program is responsible for this popup which is showing when I click CAPSLOCK key. It is very unusual because many times it covers the text which I am typing, and it is very annoying. I would like to turn it off.

My laptop is: ACER PREDATOR HELIOS NEO 16

Check the settings related to this in AcerSense and the Quick Access app, if available. If you don't need them, simply uninstall the apps, restart your laptop, and then check again.

To disable the Caps Lock notification popup on the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16, you can try disabling or uninstalling the Acer Quick Access or Acer Launch Manager programs, which are often responsible for these notifications, or adjust the system's notification settings. If that doesn't work, you can also try disabling the service responsible for the notifications.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of how to try disabling the Caps Lock notification:

    1. Disable Acer Quick Access or Acer Launch Manager:
      Check installed programs:
Go to Programs and Features in the Control Panel and look for any Acer-related programs, such as Acer Quick Access or Acer Launch Manager.
      Disable or uninstall:
Try disabling or uninstalling these programs, as they are often the source of the notifications.
      Restart your system:
After disabling or uninstalling the program, restart your computer to ensure the changes take effect.
    2. Adjust System Notification Settings:
Open Control Panel: Search for "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and open it.
Go to Ease of Access: Navigate to the Ease of Access section and select "Make the keyboard easier to use".
Disable Caps Lock indicator: Uncheck the option that says "Turn on Caps Lock indicator".
Click OK: Apply the changes by clicking "OK".
    3. Disable the Quick Access Service:
Open Task Manager: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
Go to Services: Navigate to the Services tab.
Disable Quick Access Services: Locate "Quick Access Local Service" and "Quick Access Service" and disable them.
Restart your system: Restart your computer to apply the changes.
    4. Stop the Dell Peripheral Manager Service (if applicable):
Open Computer Management: Search for "Computer Management" in the Windows search bar and open it.
Go to Services: Navigate to the Services section.
Stop Dell Peripheral Manager: Locate "Dell Peripheral Manager" and stop the service.
Set to manual startup: Set the service to "Manual" startup type instead of "Automatic".
