So, I've disabled the touchpad media mode and reduce the touchpad brightness to 0 in AcerSense settings on my Swift Go 14 SFG14-73, but it keeps resetting to default after my device is sleep or restart. How to fix this?

The AcerSense software should no be used as its an old software that is buggy as is the Acer Care Center. Avoid using especially the 80% battery limiting charging function in Acer Care Center. Leave the touchpad at default as that is why AcerSense does not save the settings permanently.

The Swift Go 14 SFG14-73-AcerSense settings not saving after sleep or restart is likely due to a software issue. To resolve it, try updating the AcerSense software and any related drivers through Acer's support website. If the issue persists, consider a hard reset or a factory reset of your laptop, as suggested by YouTube.
    Detailed Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Update AcerSense Software:
Go to Acer's support website for your specific model (Swift Go 14 SFG14-73).
Download and install the latest version of AcerSense software and any associated drivers.
This might resolve conflicts or bugs that prevent settings from being saved.
    2. Check for Power Management Settings:
Ensure your laptop's power management settings are configured correctly.
Go to Control Panel > Power Options and adjust sleep/hibernate settings.
Make sure the "Sleep" and "Hibernate" options are set appropriately for your usage.
    3. Hard Reset/Battery Reset:
If updating software doesn't work, try a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button for about 10 seconds.
Alternatively, you can try a battery reset (if your laptop has a removable battery).
Locate the battery reset button (usually a small pinhole) and press it with a pin for a few seconds.
This can sometimes resolve issues with power management and settings.
    4. Factory Reset (Last Resort):
If all else fails, consider a factory reset.
Backup your important data before proceeding, as this will erase all data on the laptop.
Restore your laptop to its default settings. This can help resolve software conflicts that are causing the issue.
