I have the Acer Aspire Tc-885-EB15 Desktop with an Acer motherboard B36H4-AD and need to replace my C drive as I am getting messages that I do not have enough room on my 128 GB hardrive to update my windows anymore. I wanted to replace it with a bigger hard drive of at least 1TB but can't seem to find any that are a SATA III SSDs for my model. It says my Acer B36H4-AD motherboard does not natively support M.2 NVMe SSDS. Can please help me? I am getting so frustrated and confused.

The Acer Aspire TC-885-EB15 desktop supports hard disk upgrades, It has three SATA connectors—one for the existing 2TB HDD, one for the DVD drive, and one available for an additional drive. There is a bay marked "HDD2" on the metal plate, which can accommodate a second hard drive. You'll need a SATA cable for the additional hard drive, and possibly a Y-adapter for power if the existing connectors are in use. If you're considering an SSD upgrade, the system supports M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSDs. Popular choices include Samsung Evo 960, Evo 970, or WDC PC SN520.

Looking on Amazon.ca and I can find the Samsung 990 Evo but cannot find either the Samsung Evo 960 or the Evo 970 or the WDC PC SN520

The Aspire TC-885 desktop has a 1x M.2 SSD slot spec of a Gen 3 x4 lane type drive, the most suitable M.2 SSD drive for this desktop if you want a quick PCIe 3x 4 lane M.2 SSD drive, then chose either the 1TB or the 2TB drive like the SK Hynix Gold P31 that is the quickest read/write drive or the Samsung 970 EVO Plus.

The Samsung has the best software support out of the two called the Samsung Magician that also has a cloning part called Data Migration and a speed tester and firmware updater that is very easy to use to clone a Samsung drive with and best tune this drive to any system. good luck and hope this helps you out further.
