Hi guys,

I'm wandering if there's some elegant solution how to reprogram "a" key on Swift Go 14 (that key to the right of F12 key) , which opens Microsoft Store for installing AcerSense application, to open some different page?

I tried few key remap free apps, but this particular key isn't recognized properly by softwares - it's recognized as "Unknown" key and remapping isn't working. What I want to achieve is to remap this useless key to www.alza.sk instead of opening MS Store, or (if already installed) open AcerSense app. Is that possible please? Maybe it's somewhere in regedit…

My biggest success here was only complete disabling this "a" , but not remapping to open any specific web page (www.alza.sk)

Thx,

Rado

Small update - so that "a" keyboard key is managed by one of Acer services running. I removed everything Acer-related from my laptop, which was installed from factory (C:\OEM , C:\ProgramData\OEM, C:\Program Files\Acer , C:\ProgramData\Acer ). As 1st I set all "acer" related services to Disabled. Then I removed all mentioned folders. After restart, most of acer services disappeared from services. As last thing I cleaned registry for everything acer related. All these software is useless for Swift 14 Go (SFG14-63 , AMD CPU), it mainly reports usage data to the Acer (monitoring agent) and monitors itself (running services, installed Acer SW reinstalling…).

Now my "a" key is without any function, which is great. Now I can use PowerToys or any other program to map anything I want to that "a" key ;-) And my Windows is booting quickly and uses less RAM because all those Acer services consumed some %
