I'm just wondering how to disable Optimus in the UEFI BIOS? The option disappeared from the BIOS?

I have an Acer V3-571G, with the bios update 2.14.

For some reason the option in the bios to be able to switch from Integrated Graphics to Optimus has disappeared, leaving me with a black screen when I attempt to run another operating system, such as Ubuntu.

I'm interested in an answer to this question too.

Prior to bying a V3-573G I need to know if it is possible to disable the NVIDIA graphics in the BIOS/UEFI. Using the notebook with a linux OS and to enjoy the optimal runtime I would want to disable the Optimus chip most of the time.

Is there an option to disable the dedicated graphics?

    Regards
