I have an ACER Swift GO, SFG16-72T. When I plug the USB-C cord from my Dell Docking station (Display Link, M4TJG) into the computer, every works except the monitors are not recognized, and there is no display. My previous Lenovo computer does not have this problem, not does my work Dell. Do I need new drivers, or something else?

The Dell Docking Station (Display Link, M4TJG) is a USB 3.0-based docking station that uses DisplayLink technology to enable multiple displays and peripherals over USB. It does not support Thunderbolt 4 or DisplayPort Alt Mode. You should connect the Dell dock to one of your USB-A 3:2 ports instead of USB-C

The Dell does need drivers installed before it will work. Whether it's plugged into the USB-C port or a USB-A port isn't relevant. Download the drivers from Dell and install them and that should get the video ports working.

I plugged the cord into a USB-A port. Display still not detected. Is there a different docking station that would work?

Thanks! Do you happen to know which drivers to download? Do they install on the computer or the docking station?

Glad to hear it worked as expected! It's not always obvious which docks need drivers and which do not.
