USB-C Port GPU Routing on Acer Nitro V15 (ANV15-51)

Hi,
Could you please confirm whether the USB-C port on the Acer Nitro V15 15.6" Gaming Laptop (ANV15-51) is directly connected to the NVIDIA GPU or if it is routed through the integrated graphics?

This is important for VR usage (VR2 specifically), as it only works if the USB-C port is directly connected to the dedicated NVIDIA GPU. If it’s connected to the integrated graphics, it doesn't function properly.

Thanks in advance!

The Nitro ANV15-51 is setup by Acer to use the Intel integrated UHD Graphics 770 cpu graphics for basic day to day graphics functions to save battery power, but then it will automatically switch to the whatever your ANV15-51 higher RTX NVidia dedicated gpu it has when requiring a higher end graphic processor, which your PlayStation VR2 will require, so that the ANV15-51 will use the NVidia dedicated gpu when required and your VR2 will function 100%.

You can set certain software in the NVidia Control panel to run only with the NVidia processor but you can't set the Nvidia processor in bios so that the ANV5-51 only runs all graphics (like you can on the higher spec Predator PH16 and the PHN16 laptops) that can run only on the NVidia gpu, so be aware of that also. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.
