Greetings, I have installed a new 128gb NV me m. 2 SSD on my e5 575g 7th gen i5 laptop, with bios Ver 1.47 latest. I have removed my HDD and installed Linux on the SSD through USB stick.

But after restart I get no bootable devices error, under Bootable bios option f12 I do not see my SSD but please note I can mount my SSD on the live installation and also write files to it. So, SSD is good but not Bootable. How to fix this??

Thanks Steven but I have tried almost all suggestions, but I was able to fix this atlast by using Mbr with legacy bios, no secure boot but fine with me. Others can try this out once.

This is a Linux issue, consult the Linux forums and get a solution there as the E5-575 bios setting need to be changed so that an M.2 SSD drive is bootable if its a dual boot system with Windows. Or maybe there are other community members that have a more accurate guide for you. Good luck.
