Model SB272UE monitor-I have two of these and one goes black briefly then back to normal

I have two of these and one goes black briefly then back to normal, Power and all cables have been checked, I even replaced the DVI cable and switched power with the other monitor.

It is just the one monitor so I think that can rule out drivers

Any suggestions?

Hi @CarpRule It is probably a problem with the graphics driver and/or the resolution and refresh rate.
Which driver do you have, the one provided by Acer or the one from the card manufacturer?

I have this exact same model and am experiencing this issue. This monitor has been successfully working since I purchased it brand new in November 2023, but in the last two weeks this issue started appearing.

Given what I've tested, I believe this is a defect in the model itself. Here is what I've tried: changed from HDMI to DVI, swapped cables, and changed computers. It is persistent across every permutation. I will be contacting customer support in email, but wanted to share this publicly for anyone else experiencing the same issue.

Note: Acer does not provide a driver for macOS, so I'm unable to try the recommended response. Also, it has been working fine for over a year using plug-and-play.

Amending my previous comment to note: I haven't tried this monitor yet on Windows or a Linux distro to see if this is something that is macOS specific. Currently testing this on a Raspberry Pi and have not yet noticed flickering. Will update again if I'm only finding this issue using macOS.
