Howdy most helpful folks. :)

Have a new Predator x27u X1bmiiphx, and noticed in recent video that there is a firmware update available for the product, so was curious on two fronts.

First, how can I tell which is my current firmware version, if there is even a way? I don't see it listed anywhere in the on-screen menus.

Second, since I do note I have not one of the chief upgrades evident in the menu, that is the constant brightness switch, I am assuming I am running on an older version. I have downloaded the software, but I am uncertain as to how to apply it, as there is no direct connect via USB to the monitor, just DP and HDMI.

Am I missing something obvious, perhaps?

If your monitor doesn't have usb-a or usb-c connections, then the firmware is not for you.

There are many SUB-models, only the exact sub-model with usb would have the firmware update.
