Need to attach X27U monitor to stand, need adapter/help please B07Z7ZM8CJ

Hi. Have a new Predator x27u X1bmiiphx monitor, and am trying to attach it to my dual mount, but the recessed mount is too deep and narrow. (Or I'm just missing something…)

Is there a mount adapter for this product? I haven't had much initial luck in searching for one, especially with this round, recessed form used on this monitor.

The mount is MOUNTUP B07Z7ZM8CJ, fairly typical dual arm 100m VESA system.

Appreciate the help! Thanks!

Acer does not list any adapter for a mount for this monitor, it only lists the compete back cover, What you need to do is either make an adapter so that your dual mount will fit or search the web for an appropriate bracket. Good luck.

There should have been a packet with four standoff screws in it to bring those out to the level of your bracket. If you threw away the packaging you can still just pick up for of them from your local hardware store or online.

Hello. If you mean the mounting hardware from Mountup, they do include four "long" stand-off screws, but even these are not quite long enough to "escape" the vortex of the recessed mount. Ugh, these propietary designs. Further, I would not like my monitor mounted on such an extended posting, as they will tend to be unstable, desiring to bend, not being flush.

If such a thing existed, it would have been ideal to simply have an "unclip" area of the mounting arm of the Acer mount, to then directly be an adaptable VESA mount. That should have been easy for them, but I see no way of detatching the arm in such a way. Again, not an engineer here, but seems a post-manuf mount is needed, given the unusual nature of this design.

Hi again. Just went looking for a cable in the box and saw what you were referring to, the included stand-off screws. I forgot all about them when repacking the box. Sorry for being obtuse, mind is a bit numb from haze of activity. These are of course perfect, and all should be simple now for using with the mountup system.

    Thanks again for the help!

Good that you found them! So often they get missed when unpacking, then the box and everything in it goes away…
