Hi, what is your Swift or Spin full model? Is this a USB-C charger or a barrel plug power adapter?

I bought a new laptop charger and now it is charging. I am good now. Answering your question. Laptop has USB-C charger. It is made by Delta Electronics. One question - how long does the warranty lasts on a laptop charger?

Warranty is different for each country, though typically it's a year or so on new machines. Check with Acer support for your locale. They will need to know the full model number and the S/N. Those are both on the same sticker…

Several factors can prevent an Acer laptop from charging, including a faulty charger, a damaged charging port, a battery issue, or a problem with the laptop's power supply. It's important to check the charger's functionality, ensure the charging port is clean and undamaged, and consider the possibility of battery or power supply issues.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of potential problems and solutions:

    1. Check the Charger:
      Visual Inspection:
Look for any signs of damage on the charger, such as frayed wires, cracks, or loose connections.
      Test with another charger:
If possible, try a known-good charger to see if the issue lies with the original charger.
      Check the power source:
Ensure the power outlet is working and that the power cable is securely connected to the outlet and charger.
    2. Inspect the Charging Port:
Cleanliness: Make sure the charging port is free of dust, debris, or any obstructions.
Damage: Check for any physical damage to the port, such as bent or broken pins.
    3. Consider Battery Issues:
Battery health: The laptop's battery might be failing or experiencing internal problems.
Swelling or damage: Inspect the battery for any signs of swelling, leakage, or physical damage.
    4. Power Supply Problems:
Hard reset: Some laptops have a reset button that can help resolve power issues.
Power supply failure: The laptop's power supply unit (PSU) might be faulty, preventing it from accepting power.
    5. Other Potential Issues:
Driver issues: Outdated or corrupted drivers can interfere with charging.
Software updates: Ensure your laptop's operating system and related software are up-to-date.
