Back audio port can't be identified on Nitro N50-610 (Windows 11)

Hi,

Any and all help is welcome.

A few days ago the audio port behind my N50-610 stopped working. Or atleast it won't identify it as an output device on my sound settings. The front port with the headset icon works fine, but would also like to get the back one working again.

Reinstalled Realtek audio drivers (since they had gone missing at some point from device manager?) and checked current drivers with Intel's Driver & Support Assistant.

Next steps?

Thanks!

    Now found this on my device manager in "Line In (Realtek® Audio):

    "Device settings for SWD\MMDEVAPI{0.0.1.00000000}.{4ceb1385-f60a-4e9c-97f3-bda618eeaf4c} were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match.

    Last Device Instance ID: SWD\MMDEVAPI{0.0.0.00000000}.{9f6a7766-9e66-4eab-aae7-1f5ff0511a30}
    Class GUID: {c166523c-fe0c-4a94-a586-f1a80cfbbf3e}
    Location Path:
    Migration Rank: 0xF00000000000F120
    Present: false
    Status: 0xC0000719"

    How do I fix this one?

    @EGGK

    This error usually appears after a Windows upgrade and when driver remnants from an old OS conflict with the current installation. Please try the below mentioned fix.

    Completely Remove & Reinstall Realtek Drivers
    Uninstall Realtek Audio: Press Win + X → Device Manager. Expand "Sound, video, and game controllers"
    Right-click Realtek Audio → Uninstall device. Check "Delete the driver software for this device" → OK

    Reinstall Realtek Drivers
    Download the latest Realtek driver from  Realtek’s official site
    The official drivers are available only for windows 10. Nitro N50-610 downloads

    Set Rear Port as Default Output. Right-click the speaker icon → Open Sound settings.
    Under Output, check if the rear port appears may be listed as Speakers Realtek Audio.
    If it does, set it as default.

    Reinstall Chipset Drivers (If Issue Persists)
    Download the latest Intel Chipset Drivers from or windows 10 drivers from Nitro downloads:
    Intel Driver & Support Assistant Intel Driver & Support Assistant
    Install → Restart.

    Reset Windows Audio Stack
    Open Command Prompt as Admin (Win + X → Terminal Admin).
    Run these commands:
    cmd
    net stop audiosrv
    net stop AudioEndpointBuilder
    net start audiosrv
    net start AudioEndpointBuilder
    Restart your PC.

    Check if the Error is Gone
    Go back to Device Manager → See if the error under "Line In (Realtek Audio)" is resolved.

    I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

    Sorry for the late reply!

    This sounds like a plan. Thank you so much. I will check back after doing these steps.

    DO NOT install realtek.com website's driver. Read the readme file, it is 6.0.1.8186.0 from 2017.

    Install your acer realtek audio driver with the setup.exe installer or the cmd script. Then run the Microsoft Store to pull the realtek audio console app.

    You need to change all these audio jacks on the mainboard as they come in a set if the middle line out jack yellow does not work, search the web for these ports as they are available and get a tech to remove the old jacks and resolder the new jacks for you.
